Re: Briz Family Formula toy Build!!!!!
We went camping up at Cisco grove camp ground and wheeled into Fordyce trail. The rig did great. It handles whoops and high speed bumps great. We mostly ran fire roads all weekend but we did wheel down to the river from the bypass. The longer wheel base takes some getting used to but it feels super stable. The kids loved it and the wife loved how smooth it rides.

Re: Briz Family Formula toy Build!!!!!
whenever, i was actually supposed to go to slickrock yesterday. A foreman from another crew came around at lunch on friday and asked if anyone wanted to work some overtime so i chose that instead. It is paying for my sway bar. We went down to San Jose today and i saw 5 rigs on trailers on 680 south and i was jealous
I think i am going to the lake with amanda next weekend, but besides that i don't really have any plans

Re: Briz Family Formula toy Build!!!!!
Well I finally got around to putting some beat in the rig.
Here is the amp and dash area

Da beat
[img][/img]
Korbi wanted a sunshade over the kids so we picked up some solar screen material from Ace hardware. $1.49 a foot not to bad. I wanted to still beable to see to backup is why we went with the screen mat. Thanks to Gramps for all of his help today. Korbi took apart her dash in the 4runner and I installed the old stereo deck from my old 4runner. It was pretty awesome I just had to wire it and tell her I was done and she put it all back together. She impressed me.

Re: Briz Family Formula toy Build!!!!!
I finally got around to finishing off the flat belly skid. 1/2" UHMW I think it is what its called. Counter sunk all of the 3/8's bolts. Drilled and tapped the bottom of the frame I took it to Gramps house to angle cut the edges so they don't get caught on rocks. It turned out pretty cool.

Re: Briz Family Formula toy Build!!!!!
We took a family trip up to the Eagle lakes exit off hwy 80. My moms and grandfathers jeeps are pretty basic so instead of going into the fordyce trail we headed up the backside of signal peak. From there we went to fordyce lake and set up camp. Then saturday we left and went exploring on the fire and logging roads. We ended up at lola montez lake. It rained and snowed all saturday night. Found some great camping spots. The buggy did great. I love driving at high speeds now. Although I did loose a lower shock bolt from all of the vibration. I didn't realize it till I went to put it on the trailer.
Korbi driving up signal peak. That is lake spalding in the background.

I was going to mess with the leaf springs to get more flex but looking at this changed my mind.

My boys comfy as always.
