Plan for sunday is
- locate motor/tranny/tcases into new frame.
- Build motor mounts.
- Cut out stock front brace and weld in new (chopperman front brace).
- Modify and weld in front hangers.
- Box in front hangers.
- Pull front axle and springs from the old frame.
- Install front axle into new frame.
- Cut rear portion of frame to match the length of the chassis.
- Weld in new rear cross brace.( if finished)

rear will be done tomorrow.

Leaving room L/R for either reverse shackles or D-rings ( about 5 " on each side )

Sounds good brotha. Thank yah!! I think i will run shackles like these. But with the springs more inboarded than this pic.

Hey Chrissss..... I *think* we're on for tomorrow. My phone is off and Matt is with RJ at Phils I think.... Might try RJ's phone if you wanna reach Matt and get a definite answer. I say yes - if he tries to throw it on me

We got the new front cross brace with hangers installed today. Installed the front axle and springs. welded in the rear cross brace. Trying to figure out motor positioning now. I want to move it back 8" but i am not sure how far down I can move the motor without problems. I would like to lower the motor as far as possible. Any ideas? Im running a 82 long bed frame, Not competing in the ftoy class.

Motor mounts are started. Just trying to figure out location. I'm going to remove my front spring pack down to just the 1 main leaf so I can compress the front suspension find bump stop location and check clearances around the motor like tie rod hitting the crank pulley or axle contacting the oil pan at full compression.
