Re: SNEAK PEAK.. Next build
well after a got a few quotes on axles and rear end stuff, i decided to swap thirds from my coupe.
Coupe had 4.11 posi P case
Chevy had 3.73 posi P case
If I grenade the rear, I will switch to a 12B. Most likely, I will snap an axle. 17 spliners....
Tires and wheels showed up, I'm getting them mounted tomorrow. While pulling the tirnd from my coupe I split my thumb open with a soft blow 5lb hammer. Good times

Re: SNEAK PEAK.. Next build
Spent all day messing with the intake and valve covers. This intake has been a MAJOR PITA...
Sometimes it feels like your just not moving forward...
Ohh, I used those super blingy steel laminated valve cover gaskets and 1 piece pan gasket. I highly recommend them !!!!.. Also found out this is two bolt main engine.... Errrr.
- cast pistons
- two bolt main
Not ideal for a boosted engine, at least its only 8:1 comp, I should be OK ( for a while ) running low boost. I also started gutting the interior as it's getting a new carpet kit...( old one was covered in mold underneath )
I am going back and fourth on primering the tilt front end as it REALLY looks like ASS and is severely cracked and needs to be repaired. Well see

Master is from a 76' vette and bolted right in...
Also picked up some sweet wires
