Nice. looks good man.. how hard were the beads to seat on those rims? if thew were tight, you probably won't need beadlocks..

Re: blackhawk build
You have to run very low air pressure for those irocks to work great. We used to run 3-5 pounds on the old buggys. Truck looks great. What a difference. I need to find someone to trade my 37" MTR's for some 40" irocks

Re: blackhawk build
Do you have a straight edge or a good, straight metal square, (in the shape of an L). Just use a long sanding board with 80 or so grit paper, and sand longways, then diagnal accross the head surface and block surface. be easy on the head as it is aluminum and it will be easy to take too much off in spots. Plug any oil passages in the block that supply the head with oil and sand with even pressure. Not too hard. Clean them up with brake parts cleaner, and lay the edge of the straight edge accross the head and block surfaces and check for warpage with a feeler gauge. I think max is .003 . if it is that or less, get toyota gaskets and put it back together. I believe you can re-use the 22re head bolts. double check though. i also believe the yota techs torque down the head, then after the final torque is completed, they will loosen each bolt, one at a time and re-torque each one in the oe sequence. It has been a while so let me double check that info.

Re: blackhawk build

so im going to get a toyota headgasket but everything else i need im going to get from engnbldr. waterpump, headblots and all the other gaskets. ive heard good things.

Re: blackhawk build
Sweet.. Remember the hidden 12 or 13 mm bolt in the head to the timing cover. It will be in the front part, inside the head, behind where the timing chain would be, filled with oil. You won't be able to see it, but it's there.
