Dude, that is sick! I've never seen anything like that.... is that a common modification or is that just an RJ special?

Interesting. So that thing spins allot slower than engine speed and not at all at a stop. How well does it charge? I imagine it just dumps allot of Voltage into the field circuit to produce higher output. I bet it really cleans up the engine compartment though post some under hood shots of this thing w/o the alternator.
