Just out of curiosity, have you called any of the yota shops to see if they've got the parts you might need? Marlin, All pro, Calmini, etc.? they might have the parts you need to convert the ax15 for a decent price, mabye just for the sake of seeing this project done.

Easier, cheaper.. 20r's are solid also.. plenty of guts.. better on gas. get it wheelin for this season then put it on pane later...

I looked at the wiring on the first gen and it is cut thru coming out of the fuse block

If you head out to PNP and see a shifter boot plate either buy it for me and I will pay you a little extra or hide it and tell me lol I need to get out there soon. Any one know if the gerber pnp has any first gens??
