Dude I would power wash and shave the last one verses having to cut off those brackets unless the springs will mount outside that truss (which would be cool cause then you would be trussed) but I am not sure with how that thing is shaved if the amount of oil capasity lost would be prone to overheating if your driving it alot.

Ive talked to a couple guys and they havent had any problems with overheating

I shaved mine and DD I have had no issues so far. I do plan on modding the housing next time to allow for a little more lube though.

well...just the bottom, but I lowered the sides in to match and from the looks of it, I took more out of the bottom than on that housing.

Im sure it would be fine, I dont really know alot about shavin diffs I just remembed reading about rocks overheating if used on the hwy after shaving. I wish I had regular steel diffs and not nodular.

When I saw that first pic i didnt see the dolly wheels and I thougth it was a gynormus top/bottom truss! LOL Black looks sweet!

thanks is was alot of whire wheel fer the axle but well worth it the rest waqs done just needed to be fine tuned
