MCR caravan from Sac
Alright ya'll....
Friday, Sept 12: We (Big bling and myself) wanna leave early and be on the trail as early as possible. Heading in through Loon.
Who's down to meet at the Home Depot on Power Inn and Folsom right off Hwy 50. Be there by 6am, rollin out by 6:30 (allotting time for latecomers/traffic as it will be a regular work day for the rest of the city). I say Home Depot because if we have a big group, we'll all fit in the parking lot fairly simply If that's too late, just say so and we'll plan for earlier... up for discussion
We'll exchange cell numbers when we find out who's all comin... if everyone's on time we won't have to wait till 6:30 to hit the road

Re: MCR caravan from Sac
I am planning on going up. I am trying to figure out when.
What is the plan on staying?
I would prefer to stay at Buck Island.. If we can get there Friday and set up camp would be good. Then I can go to the springs and back Saturday night. Then head out Sunday morning.

Re: MCR caravan from Sac
The registration pays for Friday and Saturday night I believe - it always has before, but hardly anyone is there on Friday night anyway lol. I plan on being at the springs friday and sat night.
Matt and Lance, depending on when you guys head back to Buck - I'm keeping that in consideration too. We'll see. Kinda gonna play it by ear for now. Depends on even if I have my rig.

Re: MCR caravan from Sac
We can always go through Tahoe.
Set up camp at the springs.
Saturday go to buck island for the day. Then back to the springs for dinner and bed. Then a short trip out on Sunday.
What do you think. I have found that it is about the same time to loon lake as it is to lake tahoe.

Re: MCR caravan from Sac
that might work lance, I am down for what eva, who all are you riding in with? Is pete and chris heading in with us? I dont really care where we go in at. I just have to end up at my trailer at the end of the trip and not on the other side and be expected to drive my trail rig all the way to the other side on the road.lil-bronc wrote:We can always go through Tahoe.
