Fordyce before the blazes
This last weekend 6/21-6/22 a few of my friends and I went to Fordyce. I am really glad we got this trip in because I am pretty sure it will be closed the rest of the year, especially with all these fires that broke out the first night we were out there.
We had quite a few rigs, mostly toyotas though there was one Jeep (he was seperate but came along with us for a while) and one toyota buggy. It was my first time and I had a blast. Wish we could have made it a 3 day weekend but it was still a lot of fun.
Here are the pics, first some scenic shots:

Re: Fordyce before the blazes
Justin's 89 SAS. Love this truck. He is running marlins and 63s with 4x4 labs sliders and a homemade front and rear bumper. 5.29s and 36 iroks, no case gears, no lockers. The iroks were the only thing that got him through the trail but he did pretty damn good. I was impressed considering it was an open rig. Never broke anything either.
Mark's Toyota buggy: 22re, duals (2.28/4.7), volvo portal axles, 53 XLs and 20" beadlocks to name some stuff

Re: Fordyce before the blazes
Carnage!
Kyle sheered all 6 lug nut studs on his front Dana 44....
Finally found some Jeepers with a portable welder. Only option was to weld his wheel to his rotor and limp back to his tow rig some 4-5 miles away.
It was enough though, he made it back to the trailer safely.
Colin rolled his truck trying to climb a near vertical rock, made it pretty far up then his rear tire hit a little out crop, flopped head over heals onto its lid. No big deal for Colin, highlifted the roof out, took of the doors and wheeled the rest of the trip. Its his daily driver too
Little handy work...
Good as new!
