Sunday Snow run 2/17
We're doin a last minute day snow run Sunday 2/17 up to the Grass Valley area near the town of Washington (cabin fever is getting the best of me). I will be in my F-250, and we'll play 'till we're stuck, then rescue, then do it all over again. Meet 8:30 depart at 9am from the Raley's parking lot off the Loomis exit (1 exit past Sierra College on HWY 80). e-mail me/post up if you're interested in joining.

Re: Sunday Snow run 2/17
Well Alvaro took the lead, and when the 2 track from trucks turned into 2 track from quads, forward progress took a dazzelingly snow flying halt
and dug up a snow troll
Who promptly proceeded to show us how intelligent a clown he can be
For the sake of the innocent victims involved (viewing the class act unveiling before them) I will not post the resulting head plant that I was invisioning... not happen... I can dream can't I ?!?!?!?!?! (No, not about that... sheesh, y'all have dirty minds!!!!)
I believe Alvaro threatened to squish SFB's head with his larger than life hands if he misbehaved, as behavior (SFB's) was comedic, and flambuoiant, yet tame. At any rate, now commensed the about face of all on the run, and stucks abound (especially for my longer, heavier, and not so snow savvy F-250). I started to slowly pack down a turnaround at a road junction I was hoping was firm enough (needed a few doses of Enzyte... The trail turnaround, darn it, not me!!!!). Turned out it was not, and Luke stealthfully caught the resulting yank-about-J**P-Strap-breaking readjustment that had me finally facing toward home video I hope y'all watched and laughed at. Dave cracked the whip on his hamsters under the hood to peal a bead off my right rear tire,
then SFB and family J**P tied to the front, along with Dave and his hamsters yanking at the posterior region together provided the necessary grunt to peal the driver front (assist went to the Odwalla bottle... not really, but it made for a funnay pic... and you know me) and finally get me pointed in the correct direction.
After that mayhem, it was pretty easy to get a buncho J**P freaks to do a Toyota jump... imagine such a feat!!!! Oh, wait.... I have a picture of it!!!!
Please disregard the fowl to your left...
After correcting the misdirection of stuck rigs (no mine was not the only one that got stuck turning around... but feel free to laugh at me anyway... everyone else does) The J**Pers let their hair down... literally!!! Damned hippies!!!!
and decided to tear up some powdah... SFB never one to hold back from the skinny, gets a tire in the air
Cujo was well represented on this trip, and was subject of many a candid shot
No trip would be complete without SOME wild story of carnage (Aside from the afore mentioned strap snappage, and tire pealing). Dave's neighbor and friend had his Tundra (stock) on this trip, and was being strapped out of a stuck when his throttle apparently stuck open and he careened into the rescuing vehicle... (OK, J**P freaks, your time has come... again). Dave frantically yelling STOP at Tundra Boy, resulted in a bit o paint scrapeage on a J**P door, and a nice dent in the rear cornerpanel of said Tundra
That's my story, I'm stickin to it, and I HAVE PROOF!!!! Next time I will be wheeling in my 4RUNNER... there I typed it, now I have to own up to it!!!!
