Tire Size??
When is a tire too big??
I have a set of 40's IroKs. I wish I went with the 42's now. I am even considering a set of the 44's, but the IroKs 42's have a sticky compound that are for competition and cost the same. Suppose to be softer then the Krawler's.
If you could run any tire what would you run? 49's are not allowed due to requiring a lot more beef and upgrades to the drive train.

Re: Tire Size??
i want to run the irok 42's but i don't have the money to upgrade my axles yet so i'll stick with 39" iroks for now. i think if the 49's weren't so ballooned out they would be good

Re: Tire Size??
Well I have 35s right now and if I could really pick and choose, i would like a set of 39.5 iroks. But that would require a lot of upgrades.
I will be very happy when I swap my 35s, for 37s. I cant really see needing any tire larger than that unless I had a buggy or something.

Re: Tire Size??
I'm happy with 35's cause I like the underdog approach. This way if I make it where guys with bigger tires did then I'm badass and if I don't make it, then no one is disappointed, not even me. But nobody can fault you for trying either. Ever watch someone go through something you didn't think they were gonna make? It's more exciting, I think, and it offers the need for more driver skill compared to one that is built or overbuilt in some cases. It's no surprise when something that is way built makes it through, so to me, not as exciting but still fun . Just my .02

I agree but disagree..
I agree that not having a built set up, makes a lot more of the trails more difficult.
I disagree that I have been there and now here. I have less worries and more fun on the trail now.

Yeah, if I had the money or the time to build something like you are running lil bronc, i would totally agree. Unfortunatly I am just a broke butt college student so I agree with what fordh8r said because i just cant have an extreme truck right now but I have enough of a truck to have fun. I am also the underdog of my wheeling friends so I like to prove I can keep up. really so far the only thing that has made me wish I had some 42s was deep snow. otherwise, I can keep up in the rocks, the mud ect.
