some of the problems that we ran into is the kit that we had was for a short bed not a long bed so we had to make that work. also it would have been alot easier to do this to if there was a body lift on this vehicle. We made it work though. One trick that seemed to work was follow the pinch weld seems on the bottom of the doors for a slim tucked in look. (tip) use the big jack stands to help keep the sliders in place while trying to tack them in. It is very hard to hold the sliders in place with one person and to tack it in with the other. Also it might have been easier to weld the slider to the frame pieces first but we had to adjust them while tacking them to make sure the doors would open.

frame and sliders on pass side are cleaned and ready to weld in, they have to be real clean for a great weld. with this side we turned up the welder to get better penatration to the frame.

Better throw some gussets on top of those tubes welded to the frame. Shoulda welded some plate on the frame first, but you can still fix it with some gussets. If you don't, over time beating on those sliders will cause the frame wall to flex, and eventually you'll tear a hole in them.
