i worked on the buggy this weekend. i decided that the back end was poorly designed and needed to be reworked. so i cut the back off and stretched it. i moved the lower bar out 7" and redid the downtubes. this gives me an extra 14" in the back.

those two pieces of flat stock on the original design are where the radiator mounted. with that there and a fuel cell/propane tank in front of that there would be no room for anything else. now i should be able to fit a small cooler in the back for my lunch and beverages. that or maybe a couple ammo cans for some tools. i am going to redo the way the engine sits in also and redo the lower cradle. they designed the engine to sit in crooked from the passenger side aimed at the drivers side. and it was set up to sit ontop of the cradle. well that makes it so you sit ontop of the drivetrain. my way will still sit ontop of the drivetrain but it will be lower and less interferance with the shifters

ya it will be yota drivetrain. i still have to find some. i guess it will be flat belly. it will have a lower cradle but nothing should hang below that

went to harbor freight today and got myself some bodywork hammers. 7 piece kit is on sale for $20 and i also bought a stud welder kit so i can pull the dents out of the cab pillars. can't decide what color i am gonna paint it though. narrowed it down to 3 colors
