it would be a weekend.
Ill see if i can get donations, but for now we would need trash bags or burlap sacks, we will need gloves, some way to remove paint and maybe an empty trailer. We could just unload my rig and use my trailer to get some stuff out. Or just use the bed of my truck. We could do one day of clean up and one day of play.

Re: moon rocks clean up
cool i got a big ol box of bags and found the dump in reno
Reno Transfer Station - Apocalypse NOW!
1492 East Commercial Row 329-8822
Directions from I-80 - Take the E. 4th St. exit. Go left (west) to Sage St. (0.8 mile). Go left to East Commercial Row (one block). Go right and follow the signs to the Transfer Station, on your left.
Directions from northbound I-395 (coming from the Adventure Inn) - Take the Mill St. exit. Go left at the end of the off-ramp (west). Go right on Sutro St. (This is just past the Washoe County Medical Center. The street changes name at the intersection you want, so you will see a street sign for Kirman - that's the place to turn right.) Go past the Reno Gazette Journal building on the right, go over the river. Turn right onto East Commercial Row. The Transfer Station is half a block on the right.
what to do about the paint though
ive got pressure washer and an idea for water
if needed

Re: moon rocks clean up
Very funny
Actually there will be too many people there that weekend... we should pick a non-holiday weekend.

OH, and graffiti I don't think will be part of the cleanup. I didn't see ANY graffiti this weekend, just some spilled paint. I'm talkin bout glass, shotgun shells, and some appliances that Spotter and I found. Nails are EVERYWHERE - so maybe some huge magnets??

There is a lot out there. I know a year or so ago a reno club took sandblasters out there, but I believe they had to go through a bunch of red tape to make it all legal. We should check with the BLM before we set anything in stone, there may be some restrictions/things they want us to do specifically, especially if we want to make it an "official" cleanup run. going out and picking up trash is one thing, but calling it a moonrocks cleanup, and making it official, we may want to get some overhead confirmation from BLM to make sure its alright. Reason being, if we make it an "official" event, there could be some liability concerns and so forth.
