On board welder (cheap )

in short, get a high amp GM alt (100.00 ), ground base to frame or use mounts, field wire ( usually green ) goes to switched 12V (this activates the field when turned on), red positive goes to your + welding lead. Easy easy... I also used a hand throttle and electric fan to control amps and overheating.
