I busted it on the trail, but I was able to drive almost 20 miles (15 on the highway at 55 mph) and just when I turned off the pavement, onto this dirt road (it's an extention of my driveway), about 1/3 mile from my house the axle gave up completely! I loaded the busted parts into the back, locked the hubs and crawled home on 4Lo.

1985 Toy Rolled!

This happend a couple of moths ago. This guy rolled his nice, 1985 Toy X-Cab. We got him back on his wheels, cleared the cylinders, fired it up and he finished the run. It took us 3.5 hours to get the truck back on it's wheels. He rolled in a tight spot and we couldn't get a rig in there to pull him over. We got a Jeep near him and secured the Yota and used a hi-lift and muscle to right the rig.

Well, since he rolled at Prairie City, Moose picked up a cab for his '84, so he's going to convert from std to extended cab. Soo we told him we'd keep a thread for him for his build... we're lookin forward to it ..

Here's what he did to it:

When one builds an exo cage, he/she must test it... right??? Well, while attempting a poser shot on the rock at the first water crossing of the Fordyce Trail, I did just that... Got a great poser shot... Only it wasn't quite what I had in mind. As I stacked on the rock, it ramped a LOT quicker than I had anticipated. My rear lightened and Driver air bump sprung back out shooting me over ever so slowly. I floored it to try and save it... yeah, there was lots of time to try... but no front ...
