Blazer Boat Sideing
This may be in the near future. I don't want to go quite as high, due to the lower hinge and I want to keep the windows fully functional.

Re: Blazer Boat Sideing
Pretty nice, but aren't you just adding more weight. I like the idea but you have to make a decision before you go to far.
Before you know it, this blazer will be pretty much an off road vehicle. Especially if you go that route, and I don't think it would be that easy to sell because of its size and weight. If you do stick with the blazer and go with the boat sides, use UHMW (Ultra High Molecular Whatever), basically cutting board. Just as strong and a lot lighter.
I hope you don't think that I am raining on your parade, because I am not. I just would like to see you do it once. I have gone down that road and it cost a lot more and the time spent was fun but was very difficult.
Just my .02

This is what I started with... Then I started the transformation and you know what I ended up with.

I am not trying to discourage you, I just would like to help people not make some of the mistakes I did. But to each his own and that could be the route you take. There is nothing wrong with that, I learned a lot on the way. It was worth it but not everybody has the same path as me.

Nice Bronco.. in both pics. hmm, I see your point. But right now money is the biggest factor, or smallest.
We'll see... thanks for your input, it is appreciated..
