Project CJ 1 Ton

Post by Just2Much19 on Thu Feb 21, 2008 11:36 am

I currently have a 1958 CJ-5 with a 12 bolt lincoln locked, and a 10 bolt up front open; both with 5.38:1 gears. It also has a Chevy 350 in it with an SM420, and Dana 300 t-case. I got a good deal on a 1974 Blazer on 1 tons; Dana 60 front with ARB and 4.56:1 gears, and rear is a 14 bolt full floater with detroit and 4.56:1 gears.

I will be swapping axles and then also taking the winch and then attempting to sell the Blazer.

Here is what I am starting with:

Here is what I am getting the axles out of:

I would love to get rid of everything but the axles, winch, and steering column. Maybe minus the engine too. Why what are you interested in?

Yeah, like a hole in the head... duh whattheheck cool

Actually I was wondering if there was a TH400 and NP205 in that thing. I would definitely be interested in that stuff. Otherwise anything else would be too old for my truck. I do love those bodies though, they are bad Smarty . salute

I am hopefully going to pick it up this weekend and then maybe even bring it out to PC. Anyone down to test the Blazer out?

I brought it home this morning and I am ready to tear the axles off!!! I am taking the axles, tires, the truck avenger carb, edelbrock manifold, and it has a brand new PSC steering box, reservoir and pump with brand new crossover steering.

I will take pictures as I tear it down. I will be selling the rest shortly. It has a brand new tera flex lift kit, reverse shackle flip kit, rebuilt transmission, and a ton more stuff!

Are you selling the winch, lift, exhaust, doors, interior, Top? How much? Or how much for the rest of the truck, and what is left?
