Yeah Wade wants to go to Fordyce again this year but I don't think I will be able to make any more runs. Now is busy season for work so I will be out of town working most weekends. Once the snow hits though you gotta bring that sucker up here, going to be doing a lot of snow runs around and outside of GV/Nevada City this winter

Re: Project CJ 1 Ton
Well I have been busy with work and just bought a house, near Bradsaw and 50, so I haven't been on here much. Cdgvw1 stopped by yesterday to chill and BS so I figured I would jump on and see what is going on with everyone. Once it gets nicer out I will be opening up the pool and throwing a huge party, everyone is more than welcome to come!
As for the rig, well not too much has changed. Raised the rear shackles 2 inches so it would ride better, added an additional crossmember, skid plate for the hydro ram, and an anti-wrap bar for the rear. I just ordered the wild horse 4.5 springs to swap out the 3.5's in the front. Also gonna just add a couple of d rings to suck the front down and 1 in the front and rear just for a grab point. I have ditched the propane idea after gathering 3 tanks and the whole setup. I hopefully have someone coming to get it this weekend. I am in search of a TBI engine, I have vortec heads here, and I will throw a cam in it and that's probably it.
Phil from SillyFab is a good friend of mine and has been doing a lot of the work on my rig. I recommend him to anyone that wants sick work at a reasonable price!!
As I told Chris I am itching to go wheeling. I am down to go anywhere, any weekend.
Also I bought Jen a dirt bike for Christmas...also couldn't leave myself out so I bought one too. Anyone wanna go riding?
I hope everyone is well and let me know if anyone needs a hand getting their rigs up and running so we can go wheeling...SOON!!!

Re: Project CJ 1 Ton
My friend and I picked up a new toy today. He wants the body and I want the TBI 350!!!
The tires are shot, 44 in the front, the suspension is shady but the body is done well, cage is really good. Double winches are nice. He has an ORD suspension setup from the last blazer I tore down, he also has 1 ton axles, 38's and a 350 TPI to go in it.

It's alive!
Finally almost done with the TBI motor swap. I did the wiring myself utilizing binderplanet.com, very easy!
I also swapped in some celica seats and a fancy new fuel cell.
Off to Phil's (SillyFab) this week for exhaust and then shes all ready!

Thanks everyone! I have been revving it up on the side of my house just itching to take it around the block. My neighbors already hate me! I need to get exhaust on it ASAP. Probably going to hit PC this coming weekend. Anyone in?
